Art 4 Paws Fundraiser

Courtyards Ltd. and BankNewport are sponsoring a Art 4 Paws Show to benefit Family Pet Advocates at Courtyards, 3980 Main Rd. in Tiverton, RI on Saturday, August 3 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (rain date, Sunday, August 4, 12-5 PM).   The event will feature an eclectic array of pet themed artwork created by New England artists and artisans which will be available for purchase. Half of the proceeds from the sales will benefit Family Pet Advocates and half will go to the artist.  Silent Auction items will be up for bid at the art show and local musicians will perform during the event. Children's activities will be held throughout the day.

PET SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION

Family Pet Advocates is holding a pet supply distribution day on Wednesday, July 17 from noon to 3:00 pm at Tiverton Public Library, 34 Roosevelt Ave., Tiverton, RI. The event is not affiliated with the Tiverton Public Library. Tiverton and Little Compton, RI residents in need of assistance are welcome to stop by to pick up pet food and/or supplies for their animals. Dry and canned pet food will be available on a first come, first serve basis. An ID showing proof of residency will be required and forms may be filled out in advance or at the time of pick up.

Family Pet Advocates asks that those families whose pets are on restricted diets (grain free, urinary health, etc.) and those who need specific supplies (cat litter, scoops, leashes, collars, etc.) request those items in advance. Pet parents may fill out an application for assistance prior to the distribution day which can be found at https://www.familypetadvocates.org/pet-supplies, or they can contact Family Pet Advocates by email familypetadvocates@gmail.com or phone 401-297-1426 with questions or requests.
Family Pet Advocates, a 501(c)3 organization, is dedicated to providing the resources for low-income, elderly and disabled individuals that will allow them to keep their family pets safe and healthy at home and out of shelters whenever feasible. Local residents are encouraged to share this information with their neighbors in need who may not have access to computers or newspapers. Delivery is available for those without transportation.
